Emerging Cleantech Opportunity Incubator: ECO

Launch NY’s ECO Incubator’s mission is to support cleantech startups with measurable and scalable impacts on New York State energy efficiency, renewable energy, greenhouse gas reduction, and overall sustainability goals. ECO Incubator supports clients across a wide range of industries including advanced manufacturing, demand management and energy efficiency, energy storage, energy transmission and distribution, financial technology (fintech), power generation, sustainability and waste management, and transportation.  The ECO Incubator is a former recipient of the six incubators administered by the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), for high-growth cleantech companies.

ECO Mentoring

ECO connects up-and-coming cleantech companies with Launch NY’s local Entrepreneurs-in-Residence, a national network of industry experts, and NYSERDA’s statewide Entrepreneur-in-Residence program to help achieve key milestones and accelerate time to market for new innovations.

ECO Funding

ECO Incubator clients are eligible to apply to the Launch NY Seed Fund.

Launch NY Seed Fund

The Launch NY Seed Fund is a nonprofit fund fueled by grants and donations from the region’s best businesses and philanthropies. This fund provides $25,000 to $100,000 in investment capital to qualified companies that have been working with a Launch NY Entrepreneur-in-Residence for at least three months.
