Exotanium, a new company in the Launch NY portfolio, has raised $1M. Exotanium was founded to address cloud complexities by an academic team with deep domain experience. The startup focuses on improvement of cloud-native application security, performance optimization and cost reduction solutions. Talk about the ultimate better, cheaper, faster option across private and public cloud environments!

SunDensity is One of Ten Finalist in NextCorps’ 2020 Luminate NY Competition

SunDensity, a Launch NY Portfolio Company, is in the top 10 teams of the 2020 Luminate NY Finals. The Finals are scheduled to take place Monday, September 14th at  10:30am. SunDensity has developed a Photonic Smart Coating (PSC) technology that optimizes the efficiency of solar panels as well as electronic devices and architectural glass.

Atrevida Science is a finalist in the Panasci Technology Entrepreneurship Competition

Atrevida Science is a finalist in the Henry A. Panasci Jr. Technology Entrepreneurship Competition hosted by the Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership at the University at Buffalo (UB). The finals will take place in Fall 2020, date is to be announced. Atrevida Science is a Launch NY Emerging Cleantech Opportunity (ECO) Incubator company, bringing new wind turbine technology pioneered at UB to improve wind energy conversion at the most critical point –the turbine blade.

Heart Health Intelligence Joins Elite American Heart Association Network

Launch NY Portfolio Company, Heart Health Intelligence has joined American Heart Association’s Center for Health, Technology & Innovation’s Innovators’ Network. Heart Health Intelligence, Inc. has developed an innovative, proprietary medical device called the Fully Integrated Toilet (FIT) seat to provide cardiac disease patients with self-contained, passive, daily in-home monitoring.
