Celebrating Women’s History Month

This month and every month, we proudly celebrate the invaluable contributions of the women who are the foundation of Launch NY. From our President & CEO and Board Members to our Investor Network Manager, Program Managers, Senior Operations Manager, Operations Specialist, Legal, and Marketing teams, as well as our Entrepreneurs-in-Residence (EIRs) these remarkable individuals drive our organization’s success and embody our mission.

In honor of Women’s History Month, Launch NY is ending the month by hosting an upcoming event on March 28th from 12 – 1 PM that reflects our commitment to supporting and empowering women in the startup ecosystem. We’ll be hosting a thought-provoking roundtable discussion on women in startup and investing, featuring esteemed female investors who are investing in Upstate New York:

This event aims to celebrate and foster the growth of women in startup investing. While only 16.1% of decision makers at US VC firms are women, their representation among angel investors has seen remarkable growth to 33.6% in 2021, as highlighted in Forbes. This informal discussion will feature angel and institutional investors at the seed and early stages.
