Meet Launch NY’s Client Companies in the 43North 2021 Competition
Launch NY, the first and only nonprofit venture development organization that provides high-growth startups in the 27 westernmost counties of the state access to seed fund capital and pro bono mentoring, is excited to have four of its client companies as 43North Finalist.
This week on October 28th at Shea’s Performing Arts Center. The 43North Competition is where startups from all over the globe can come and give their pitch in front of a group of judges for a chance to win a top prize of $1 million. Among the 19 finalists mostly from outside the region are these local Launch NY client companies: Verivend, Top Seedz, BetterMynd, and Ognomy. Top Seedz was started in 2017 right here in Buffalo, NY, where they are creating hand-made seed crackers and roasted seeds. Their entire product line is organic, vegan, and gluten-free. Top Seedz firmly believes that when one eats healthy, they can create positive change within themselves and the world.

BetterMynd has one goal in mind, to make mental health resources more accessible to college students. Through virtual sessions and cutting-edge technology, BetterMynd enables college students to access help and universities to provide mental health resources.
