Thanks to new federal funding for Launch NY and Cornell University’s Center for Regional Economic Advancement, regional startups, especially those owned by women and/or underrepresented minority groups, will now have 100% virtual access to resources to help them succeed, regardless of future threats like the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Launch NY has awarded its first funding through its Founders Go Big (FGB) program for underrepresented founders to Anaghe Atelier, a Buffalo-based men’s clothier and online retailer led by Anthony Boyd and specializing in hand crafted, custom made clothing, including sweat suits, shoes and sneakers. Anaghe Atelier will receive $25,000 from Launch NY’s nonprofit fund. |

Veteran-owned startup, and Launch NY Portfolio Company, MemoryFox, has received a $100,000 investment from the Buffalo Innovation Seed Fund. The company has raised a total of $380,000 in seed funding.

ZiZo Launches Software Platform
Launch NY portfolio company, Zizo Technologies has officially launched its employee retention software platform and is onboarding customers.

Launch NY Portfolio Company, braidbabes, has closed on $415,000 in pre-seed funding including contributions from Launch NY’s nonprofit and LP funds.
