Sensor Center for Advanced Technology, SUNY at Stony Brook
Sensor CAT is a New York State-funded link between Stony Brook University and New York business. We rely on University intellectual and material resources to help grow high-technology manufacturing in the State.
The program of the Center for Advanced Technology in Diagnostic Tools and Sensor Systems (Sensor CAT) is driven by needs of NYS industries that develop, manufacture, or employ sensors. We pay particular attention to supporting science-based start-ups, especially those connected with university research. This support includes universal modern prototyping facilities, assistance by the CAT’s Entrepreneur-in-Residence, and the CAT’s connections with NY investment community.
