“Seven years ago I couldn’t even dreamed that owning my own successful business was possible. That was for “ other people”. In time though, I began to notice that those “other people” were just like me, hard workers with skill and drive to succeed. I became dissatisfied with working for someone else and making THEIR dreams a reality. I knew that I wanted to explore the idea and I called my friend William, who understood business and numbers and said … “I want to open my own little salon. Am I crazy?” ….“How am I going to get the money?” …” I have never done this before”….I was terrified but determined. William pointed me in the direction of PathStone and that when things became real. PathStone offered me free expert assistance putting together my business plan. They also mentored me in the process of applying for the funds to start my business. I presented before the PathStone loan committee and it was such a positive experience. I walked away from the whole experience feeling prepared and confident that with them in my corner I was going to succeed! PathStone gave me my business loan after getting to know me and believing in my dream along with me. They have been my biggest cheerleaders and support team over the years and I appreciate them all so much.” Michele Brown, CEO, Michele & One L Co.
