FuzeHub is the statewide Manufacturing Extension Partnership Center, providing guided support to manufacturing companies in New York State. During this presentation, we will provide an overview of the FuzeHub programs available to biotech companies, and discuss the steps required to access assistance. Patty will describe funding options and eligibility requirements, share the 2023 timeline, and give examples of awarded projects. Eric will explain how our solutions program taps into the resources available in NY State and give examples of some of the successful connections we have made.
Patty Rechberger is the Innovation Fund Manager at FuzeHub. Patty develops and oversees program content under the Jeff Lawrence Innovation Fund. She guides clients starting with initial inquiry through the application process, submission and award requirements, offering continued support during and after project completion. Prior to working at FuzeHub, Patty spent over fourteen years in the private sector, identifying and developing opportunities that led to sustained company growth and increased profit margins. Patty holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University at Albany and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Empire State College.
Eric Fasser is the Solutions Program Manager for FuzeHub, focused on helping manufacturers throughout NY State. Prior to FuzeHub, Eric ran his own engineering firm, where he assisted companies in transforming concepts into commercially viable products. He also has 20 years of experience in various product development roles with leading manufacturers including Bosch Power Tools and Ames True Temper. Eric received a mechanical engineering degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Indiana University.
